North Rigton Junior First Aid

This morning children from Year 1 to Year 6 all engaged in a Junior First Aid Awareness course run by Sporting Influence. Following a sudden and devastating bereavement impacting our school community last year, North Rigton school leaders have prioritised including children's first aid in their personal development offer and have been proactive in upskilling pupils in their understanding of what to do in an emergency. The interactive sessions focussed on basic first aid, how to get help and how to stay calm. We are very proud of the children's knowledge and engagement with this.
