North Rigton Celebrate Start of Term with a New Playground!

The new school year began with excitement and smiles at North Rigton Primary School as pupils returned to a transformed outdoor space that promises adventure, learning, and fun.

This year’s first day was made even more special with the grand unveiling of the school’s brand-new playground and Outdoor Discovery Classroom—a vibrant and imaginative space designed to inspire curiosity and creativity in every child. The launch marks a significant milestone in the school’s commitment to outdoor learning and play-based development.

The stunning new facilities were brought to life by the talented team at Playscheme, whose thoughtful and engaging design has already captured the hearts of pupils and staff alike. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by our very own Chief Executive Jane Goodwin, who throughly enjoyed the wonderful occasion.

Staff and pupils were thrilled to welcome Your Harrogate, who joined the festivities to help mark this exciting moment for the school and wider community.

Most importantly, this achievement would not have been possible without the incredible support and dedication of the North Rigton School Community. From fundraising to planning, their passion and teamwork have made this dream a reality.
