History
There have been educational establishments on some of our Trust school sites as far back as the 1800s. We are proud of this heritage and are privileged to be the current custodians of these historic buildings, in addition to our other, more recently developed, school sites.
It was in 2015, when St. Aidan’s CE High School and Richard Taylor CE Primary School joined together to form a multi academy trust, that Yorkshire Causeway Schools Trust first came into existence.
Since then, a further 7 schools have joined the Trust, as follows:
School Name | Date of Joining |
St. Peter's CE Primary School | March 2016 |
Pannal Primary School | July 2016 |
Oatlands Infant School | August 2016 |
Hampsthwaite CE Primary School | February 2017 |
North Rigton CE Primary School | December 2017 |
All Saints CE Primary School | July 2018 |
Skipton Parish CE Primary School | August 2021 |
Since 2015, the growth of the Trust has not just been in respect of school and pupil numbers, but also in terms of the number of colleagues within our schools and central team. These professionals have themselves developed local and national networks and relationships which add to the depth and diversity of our Trust and allow us to benefit from a range of knowledge and expertise.
