St. Aidan's Achieve Record Breaking GCSE Results
Students, staff and families at St Aidan's Church of England High School are celebrating an exceptional set of GCSE results, with many of the school's headline measures reaching their highest levels on record.
The outstanding outcomes reflect the dedication, resilience and ambition of the Class of 2026 and mark a significant milestone in the school's history. Across a range of key performance indicators, students achieved record-breaking results, ensuring more young people than ever are progressing to ambitious and exciting next steps.
Alongside these impressive headline figures were countless individual success stories. Students achieved exceptional outcomes across a broad range of subjects, with many securing multiple grades 8 and 9, significantly exceeding expectations and opening doors to future opportunities. Nearly 90% of students achieved a grade 4 or above in both English and mathematics, while students celebrated achieving grade 7 and above across a wide range of subjects.
Many students have overcome personal challenges on their journey to success, demonstrating remarkable determination and resilience. Their achievements are testament not only to their hard work but also to the care, support and encouragement provided by staff, families and the wider school community.
