Associated Sixth Form Celebrates Outstanding Level 3 Results
The Associated Sixth Form of St Aidan's CE High School and St John Fisher Catholic High School is delighted to celebrate another year of exceptional Level 3 results. The outcomes have exceeded expectations and are a testament to the dedication, resilience and hard work of students, supported by staff and families throughout their studies.
Students across the sixth form achieved outstanding success, with many securing strings of A* and A grades at A Level. Vocational learners also excelled, with a significant number achieving the highest possible grades of Distinction* and Distinction.
More than 80% of students achieved at least one grade between A* and C, while over 95% gained three or more A Level or equivalent qualifications. The Associated Sixth Form has also achieved a positive value-added score, demonstrating that students performed above national expectations when compared with their prior attainment. These excellent results have enabled students to progress to a wide range of prestigious universities, higher-level apprenticeships and exciting employment opportunities.
The achievements of this year's cohort reflect the strength of the unique partnership between St Aidan's and St John Fisher. Through the Associated Sixth Form, students benefit from an extensive curriculum, exceptional teaching expertise and a vibrant learning community that brings together young people from across Harrogate and the surrounding area. This collaboration continues to provide outstanding opportunities for students to flourish academically, socially and personally.
The Associated Sixth Form is particularly proud of the breadth of achievement demonstrated this year. Alongside those attaining the very highest grades, many students exceeded their personal targets, overcoming challenges and demonstrating remarkable determination to achieve their ambitions.
