Good Luck to All Saints!

Many of our schools are forming teams for this year's Knaresborough Bed Race. 

Among them will be All Saints CE Primary School, Kirkby Overblow, as staff and parents come together to take part in this fantastic local institution!

The team - made up of staff and parents of all ages and abilities - is taking on this much-loved local event to raise £1,000 towards upgrading the school’s outdoor play trail, helping to create an even better environment for children to learn and play.

The Knaresborough Bed Race is a unique and challenging occasion, combining a vibrant fancy dress parade with a demanding 2.4-mile race, finishing with a plunge through the River Nidd. This year’s “Swinging Sixties” theme promises plenty of colour and creativity, with the All Saints bed set to feature giant retro sweets.

We are proud to see such strong community spirit and teamwork in action, and we wish everyone involved the very best of luck on the day. It is a fantastic example of how school communities come together to support opportunities that benefit all pupils.
