Happy Easter to our Trust Community!

Easter Across Yorkshire Causeway Schools Trust

As we head into the Easter break, we’re delighted to share a look back at the wonderful celebrations, community events, and special moments that have taken place across the Yorkshire Causeway Schools Trust. This term has been filled with creativity, care, and connection — a true celebration of everything that makes our Trust community shine.

Easter Egg Decorating Competitions

Pupils across the Trust wowed us with their colourful, inventive Easter egg designs. From vibrant patterns to imaginative themed creations, the standard was incredibly high. Their creativity brought joy to us all!

Community Teas once again brought together families, pupils, staff, and local residents for friendly conversation and delicious treats. These wonderful gatherings continue to highlight the strong community spirit at the heart of our Trust.

Easter Services

Across our schools, Easter services provided a meaningful opportunity for reflection and celebration. Pupils contributed through thoughtful readings, prayers, and music, marking this season with dignity and warmth.

Easter bonnets and springtime outfits took centre stage in our joyful parades. From bright colours to imaginative designs, pupils’ creations made each event a delightful highlight of the term.

Good Egg Awards

A huge congratulations to this term’s St. Aidan's Good Egg Award recipients! These pupils have demonstrated kindness, resilience, and compassion — truly embodying the ambition we have for our students across the Trust.

St Peter’s Embrace Nature Challenge

St Peter’s pupils spent time connecting with the natural world through the Embrace Nature Challenge. Whether spotting signs of spring, enjoying mindful moments outdoors, or exploring wildlife, pupils embraced the chance to appreciate the season and reflect on the world around them.

4‑Day‑Old Lambs Visit North Rigton School

One of the most heartwarming moments this Easter was the visit of two 4‑day‑old lambs to North Rigton School. Pupils had the chance to meet the lambs up close, ask questions, and learn about animal care — a magical springtime experience they will never forget.

Staff Easter Nest‑Themed Coffee Morning at St Aidan’s

At St Aidan’s, staff came together for a wonderfully creative and uplifting Easter Nest‑Themed Coffee Morning. With nest-inspired bakes, seasonal treats, and a warm, friendly atmosphere, the event offered colleagues a moment to pause, connect, and share in some Easter joy. It was a lovely reminder of the strong team spirit that runs throughout the school.

…and so much more

Spring fairs, craft sessions, charity drives, outdoor learning days — each of our schools added something unique and meaningful to this year’s Easter celebrations. Thank you to all pupils, staff, families, and volunteers whose enthusiasm and hard work made this end of term so special.

Wishing the entire Yorkshire Causeway Schools Trust community a very Happy Easter.
We hope you enjoy a much‑deserved rest and share wonderful moments with loved ones. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in a few weeks, refreshed and ready for an exciting summer term ahead.

Happy Easter!
