A Joyous St. Aidan's Spring Senior Concert
This week's St. Aidan's Spring Senior Concert was joyous — our warmest thanks to everyone who joined us!
Across Yorkshire Causeway Schools Trust, we are proud to celebrate moments like this that showcase the ambition, dedication, and talent of our students and staff. Tonight’s performances reflected countless hours of rehearsal, high aspirations, and a genuine commitment to excellence in music.
The audience was treated to an outstanding programme featuring our Symphony Orchestra, Senior Choir, Swing Band, Chamber Choir, and Symphonic Wind Band — each ensemble demonstrating the confidence, skill, and artistic ambition we seek to nurture across all our schools.
Musical Directors were delighted to present awards to students who have gone above and beyond, exemplifying exceptional progress, commitment, and passion. Their achievements embody our Trust-wide vision of enabling every learner to aim high and flourish.
Our sincere thanks go to every student who performed; to SAMA for their invaluable support; to our dedicated tech team; and to the parents and families who continually champion their children’s aspirations.
A special thank you is extended to St. Aidan's wonderful music staff - Mrs Elliott, Mr Elliott, Mrs Leonard, and Mrs Collett — whose expertise and high expectations inspire students to believe in what they can achieve.
We also celebrate and congratulate our Year 13 musicians following their final school performance. Their leadership and ambition have enriched our musical community, and we wish them every success. We look forward to welcoming them back at a future concert after Easter.
Finally, we were thrilled to see our Trust Chief Financial Officer, Mrs Davison, join the Symphony Orchestra on French Horn — a brilliant example of the passion, collaboration, and shared ambition that characterise our Trust.
