Remembrance Marked Across the Trust

Remembrance Across Our Trust | Armistice Day 2025

Today, our schools came together in solemn reflection to honour the sacrifices of those who served and continue to serve in times of conflict. Across the Trust, students and staff have marked this period of Remembrance with dignity, gratitude, and a deep sense of community.

Assemblies Honouring Local Heroes
In classrooms and halls, assemblies were held to share the stories of local servicemen and women - bringing history close to home and reminding us of the courage found within our own communities.

Commemorative Plaques at St Peter’s
At St Peter’s, a moving ceremony saw the unveiling of commemorative plaques dedicated to local soldiers. These permanent tributes ensure their names and stories will be remembered for generations to come.

Skipton Parish in Parade

Students from Skipton Parish proudly took part in a community parade, standing shoulder to shoulder with veterans and local residents in a powerful act of remembrance and unity.

The Last Post at St Aidan’s
At 11am, the trumpet players of St Aidan’s united in a poignant rendition of The Last Post. The sound echoed across the entire school site - from the Chapel Block to Bede House- offering a moment of stillness and reflection for all.
